Turkey and Ukraine United by Close Friendly Ties, Says Cavusoglu
Turkey and Ukraine are united by close friendly ties. This was announced by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu during a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Lviv, adding that their countries demonstrate solidarity on many issues.
"Our relations are developing in many areas, which is a matter of great joy. The presidents of both countries have already held two meetings since the beginning of the year," Cavusoglu said, as reported by Anadolu Agency.
The minister emphasized that Turkey's stance on supporting Ukraine's integrity and sovereignty remains unchanged. "Ankara has supported and continues to support the advancement of the Crimea Platform initiative. Turkey attaches special importance to the rights of Crimean Tatars. By the end of the year, construction of houses for Crimean Tatars with the support of the Turkish side will begin in Ukraine," the diplomat added.
