How Saakashvili Illegally Crossed the Ukraine-Georgia Border

Details have emerged about how Mikheil Saakashvili reached Georgia. As known, the former president of Georgia illegally crossed the Ukraine-Georgia border and was arrested on October 1 in one of the outskirts of Tbilisi.

CNews reports that Saakashvili crossed the border in a cargo trailer. The source also uncovered the identity of the driver, who is Elguja Tsomaian, originally from Abashi. He had been transporting wheat from Georgia to Ukraine for a long time.

Saakashvili was sitting in the ventilation cabin of the truck the entire time. The residence where he was arrested also belonged to Tsomaian. It is noted that even Saakashvili's relatives were unaware of his return to Georgia.
