Turkey's Defense Minister Calls for Consultation on Afghanistan Issues
Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar has called for a consultation regarding the events taking place in Afghanistan. This was reported by the Turkish Anadolu news agency, citing the Armenian news agency Armenpress.
According to a statement released by Turkey's National Defense Ministry, the video conference, presided over by Hulusi Akar, included participation from the commander of Turkish forces stationed in Afghanistan, Chief of General Staff General Yaşar Güler, and Air Forces Commander General Hasan Küçükağız.
During the video conference, the Turkish minister stated that Turkey is closely monitoring the developments occurring in Afghanistan.
