Images of Melted Car and Traffic Light in Kuwait Due to Heat Are Fake: What Really Happened

Reports about anomalous heat in Kuwait, resulting in a car melting on the street, have been found to be fake. Earlier, Russian media claimed that temperatures in the country reached 73 degrees. Journalists from Daily Storm uncovered the truth.

The Russian Embassy in Kuwait informed the publication that the temperature there is currently around 50 degrees. Meanwhile, the photograph of the melted car was taken in 2018 after a fire in the state of Arizona, USA, where the blaze damaged 15 vehicles.

The image of the melted traffic light was taken after an accident in Kuwait in 2013, when a car crashed into the traffic signal and ignited.
