Where We Did Not Conduct Campaigning, It Turns Out We Received More Votes: Davit Harutyunyan
Where we did not conduct campaigning, it turns out we received more votes. This was stated today by Davit Harutyunyan, a representative of the "Dignity" alliance, during the hearing of a petition to invalidate the election results at the Constitutional Court, responding to Badasyan's question of why they received more votes in prisons than the authorities.
"Those who were outside were influenced by you, and for that reason, society had a different picture, where we had campaigners, and where you didn’t even think, you didn’t even intimidate, a different picture emerged. I thank you for confirming and bringing a vivid example that what I said is true. You pressured the campaigners, that’s why that picture came from outside society," Harutyunyan said.
In response to Badasyan's question about how it is that if the alliance's representative claims that administrative resources were used, then why was this not the case in prisons, Harutyunyan noted that the number of voters in prisons is not that large, and for that reason, the authorities did not pay attention to it.
