Microsoft is set to change the color of the 'blue screen of death' in Windows 11, according to The Verge.

In the new operating system, the background of the critical error screen will be transformed to black. This means that the colors of the screens will be the same when you turn your computer on and off.

Journalists have noted that this is the first significant design change to the 'Blue Screen of Death' (BSoD) since 2016, when a QR code was added to the error screen.
