Juventus Begins Negotiations with Mkhitaryan
According to Min.news, citing Torino Sport, representatives of Juventus have started negotiations with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The player has not yet extended his contract with Roma, which expires this summer, allowing him to potentially join the Turin giants as a free agent (Transfermarkt values Mkhitaryan's transfer at €20 million). This is reported by Armsport.
The source states that Juventus is prepared to offer Mkhitaryan an annual salary of €5 million. However, Mkhitaryan has not yet officially responded to Juventus's offer.
The 32-year-old has played 39 matches this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists. According to the source, with Mkhitaryan's help, Andrea Pirlo's team could reduce Cristiano Ronaldo's burden in the attacking line while also improving Juventus's offensive efficiency.
