Snow Depth in Moscow Reaches 59 Centimeters
Due to several days of heavy snowfall in Moscow, the snow depth has reached 59 centimeters, marking the second highest record observed during meteorological studies. According to РИА Новости, significant snowfall was recorded in Moscow and the surrounding areas on Friday and Saturday.
By Saturday morning, 60 percent of the monthly precipitation norm had already been registered. In Moscow, the snow cover has reached 59 centimeters, while in the surrounding regions, it has reached up to 72 centimeters, which is one and a half times the norm.
