Jalal Harutyunyan Appointed to New Position in the Ministry of Defense
Reliable sources from Auroranews report that the former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan, has been appointed as the head of the Military Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
It is worth mentioning that by a decree from the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan was relieved of his command of the Defense Army on October 28, 2020.
Jalal Harutyunyan sustained injuries during the 44-day war in Artsakh, and his dismissal was attributed to this circumstance.
