Has Pashinyan Ordered the Evacuation of Tigranashen Village?
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that some intriguing and concerning details have emerged following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's unexpected visit to the Ararat region. Specifically, several residents of the region reached out to express their unease, informing us that there are discussions circulating regarding a separate tripartite meeting among Deputy Governor Razmik Tevonyan, Nikol Pashinyan, and the commander of the Ararat region battalion, during which the future fate of Tigranashen village (Kyarky) was discussed.
In particular, it is presumed that, following the well-known tripartite agreement signed on the night of November 9-10, certain enclave territories, including Tigranashen village (Kyarky), are to be handed over to Azerbaijan. There are reports that the Prime Minister has ordered the village to be evacuated soon for this purpose.
To verify the accuracy of this information, we contacted the Prime Minister's press secretary, Mane Gevorgyan. In response to our question, Mane Gevorgyan stated, "We have released a statement summarizing everything discussed; however, we cannot add anything beyond that. The Prime Minister did not issue any order regarding the evacuation of the village." However, it remains unclear whether such discussions actually took place.
