I Am Proud of My Team: Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Armenian national football team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has congratulated his teammates on their victory in the second subgroup of the League of Nations C Division.

“I am especially proud of my team. Congratulations to the guys for securing a spot in the League of Nations B Division,” Mkhitaryan wrote on his social media pages.

The Armenian national team defeated North Macedonia in the final round of the League of Nations C Division’s second subgroup and became the subgroup winner for the first time in history. The only goal of the historic match was scored by Hovhannes Hambardzumyan. Under the leadership of Joaquín Caparrós, the team earned the right to compete in the League of Nations B Division.
