I spent 15 days on the front line. It would have been better if I hadn't returned, hadn't seen anything. Aragatsotn Governor
Aragatsotn Governor David Gevorgyan wrote on his Facebook page: "It has been 3 days since our unit returned from the front line. The only positive thing I can mention is that we did not suffer human losses from our unit. During these days, 4 of our soldiers were injured.
Having spent around 15 days on the front line, we saw many positive and negative phenomena, as well as the actions of different individuals, but there is no heart or desire to talk about it at all.
For more than 3 days, I have been thinking that it would have been better if I hadn't survived, hadn't returned, and hadn't seen this all, but not a single shell or bullet from the enemy reached me. What dreams and goals we had when we set out, we returned without achieving them.
At this moment, we have what we have. I'm saying 'at this moment' because my team and I have not set a final point but rather an ellipsis and returned. There is today and tomorrow; there is unfinished business that, without a doubt, we will continue regardless of all circumstances. I am sure that this thought, this decision is shared by hundreds and thousands of people.
We must each find strength within ourselves. With our unity, intellect, and strong will, we will emerge from this severe situation and bring light to the Armenian world. And now, truly, there is no heart to speak."
