Illegal Structure Built in Dilijan Vineyards Area Being Demolished
Currently, the illegal construction on the Yerevan-Tbilisi interstate road, located in the Dilijan winding roads area, is being demolished. David Grigoryan, the press secretary of the Minister of Environment of Armenia, reported this on his Facebook page.
This morning, at the beginning of a working visit to the Tavush region, Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan was inspecting the illegal structures located within the boundaries of the Dilijan National Park, which lack the necessary documentation. The minister instructed to promptly address the existing problems at the site.
By the second half of the day, the demolition of the structures pointed out by Minister Petrosyan has begun. It turned out that the developer did not have the right to construct such a building or to make any changes to the terrain. The demolition work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
