Police Continue to Fine for Not Wearing Masks in Vehicles, Melikyan
Co-founder of the legal NGO, Ruben Melikyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "The Commandant has yet to make a decision on lifting the requirement to wear masks in vehicles, despite the announcement made yesterday. Many citizens, trusting this announcement, began not to wear masks in their personal vehicles. However, the police are still fining citizens at this moment for not wearing masks in vehicles. We just received a report from a citizen (the incident occurred moments ago in the Gegharkunik region). Therefore, this is either a trap for citizens or yet another instance of negligence. Dear citizens, be aware of this situation to avoid becoming 'material for fines.'"
