The Process of Collecting Tires for the Border Continues: Another Batch Departed from Gyumri
In dozens of communities across the regions of the Republic, the process of collecting tires for the border continues. Almost every day, large batches of tires are sent to the defense borders of Artsakh and Armenia. The latest batch has also departed from Gyumri.
The initiator of this effort is Gyumri resident Zhora Abgaryan, the brother of tank commander Tigran Abgaryan, a hero of the April War. For the past four years, regardless of the situation at the border, Zhora Abgaryan and dozens of young volunteers have not ceased to support the Armenian army.
Thousands of tires are sent to the borders daily using dozens of large and small trucks. Members of the initiative mention that with the support of the citizens, the amount sent increases every day, and new volunteers are joining their team to assist in the loading of the tires.
