Discussions on Border Openings with Russia to Ensure Passenger Flow, Says Avinyan
Discussions regarding the opening of borders are underway with the Russian Federation, stated Minister of Emergency Situations Tigran Avinyan in the National Assembly.
“At this time, we are having discussions with the Russian Federation regarding the opening of borders to ensure passenger flow. This is being done in a bilateral format. There are currently no discussions ongoing regarding land borders with either Georgia or the Islamic Republic of Iran. The same regime and restrictions are still in place,” he said.
