Ayraik Harutyunyan Decides That MPs Should No Longer Be in University Boards

On August 7, Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan approved the compositions of the boards of four universities. According to the Prime Minister's decisions, the boards of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, Yerevan State University, and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia were confirmed.

According to information from the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," Armenia's Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Ayraik Harutyunyan has decided that MPs should no longer be part of the university boards. Our government sources report that Harutyunyan has informed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about this decision, expressing his desire to exclude MPs from the university boards.
