Armenia's Consolidated Communities Receive Over 717 Million Drams in Equipment
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure's Territorial Development Fund of Armenia has reported that this year, consolidated communities in Armenia have received agricultural and communal service equipment worth more than 717 million drams as part of the "Social Investments and Local Economic Development" program. According to the press service of the Territorial Development Fund of Armenia, the beneficiary communities include the consolidated Akhtala, Aragatsavan, Areni, Gladzor, Yeghigis, Yeghvard, Jambarak, Shnogh, Shoghakat, Sarchapet, Sisian, Tashir, and Odzun.
The equipment provided to the communities includes 46 units such as dump trucks, combines, minibuses, multifunctional excavators, tractors, combined road vehicles, off-road technical service vehicles, and other necessary technical means used for agricultural and communal service work. The equipment has been acquired with funds from the World Bank, co-financed by the Government of Armenia at 20% and the communities at 5%.
