Tonight, 45 People Returning from Lebanon Will Arrive in Yerevan
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, has announced on his Facebook page that shortly a third aircraft loaded with humanitarian aid will depart for Lebanon. Armenia and Artsakh will deliver more than 36 tons of essential goods, food, and medication to Lebanon through three flights.
So far, our 56 compatriots have been brought back to the homeland through the first two flights, and tonight, another 45 individuals will arrive in Yerevan on a flight returning from Lebanon. These individuals are from the Armenian community who were left homeless and without means of subsistence as a result of the explosion in Beirut, are citizens of the Republic of Armenia, or are family members of Armenian citizens, and have a place to stay in Armenia.
The Armenian people stand by our brotherly Lebanon, and our assistance will continue.
