Investigation Underway in Ahalkalaki Murder Case: Ministry of Internal Affairs
According to Vakhtang Gomelauri, the head of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, one individual has been arrested in connection with the murder that took place in Ahalkalaki. He stated that the investigation is ongoing.
“An investigation is underway. The person who committed the murder has been arrested. We will ascertain the identity of the others involved,” Gomelauri noted.
Charges have been brought against one person for the murder of a man in Ahalkalaki. The incident occurred on August 8, where a 30-year-old male was shot dead. An investigation has been launched following the event.
Residents of the area have indicated that the murder is linked to a conflict that has been ongoing for several years. Following the murder, tensions rose in Ahalkalaki on the evening of August 8, necessitating the mobilization of law enforcement.
