Court of Appeals Overturns Decision on Tsarukyan's Restraint Measure
The Court of Appeals has overturned the first-instance decision regarding the restraint measure for Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, during a hearing chaired by Judge Mkhitar Papoyan. This information was confirmed by his attorney, Samvel Dilbandyan, in response to a question from HLJ.
The attorney faced difficulty in specifying which party's appeal was upheld or rejected, stating that the decision is not in their possession as it was published without their participation. Nevertheless, according to the defense, the court did not make a decision to detain Gagik Tsarukyan.
Samvel Dilbandyan also mentioned that they plan to appeal the court's decision due to a relevant ruling from the Constitutional Court, which prohibits such judicial acts from being sent back.
