Under What Conditions Will We Return to Life Without Masks? The Minister Details

The vaccine will be available; that is the only thing that will allow us to return to life without masks. This was stated by Arsen Torosyan during a press conference.

Different countries are initially going for large batches of vaccines that are either not yet produced or not yet approved. There are about 20 variants that could become the final version of the vaccine.

According to the Minister of Health, a few days ago, one of the British publications reported that the UK had purchased around 60 million doses of a future vaccine for its population, paying nearly 500 million pounds, which means that other countries will not have access to it.

“Right now, there is a kind of race. Just like during the Cold War, when everyone was trying to produce new weapons, now everyone is trying to acquire batches of vaccines that are still unproduced and unapproved, even paying money in advance,” Torosyan noted.

He emphasized that Armenia has decided to at least start such discussions with both direct producers and organizations that make collective purchases.
