Criminal Case Initiated Following 14-Year-Old Boy's Suicide in Gyumri
On March 17, 2020, at 19:10, a call was received by the Kumayri Police Department from the Gyumri Emergency Medical Care Station regarding the suicide of a 14-year-old boy by hanging, as reported by the Investigative Committee.
Upon arriving at the scene, the investigative-operational group discovered the body of the boy, born in 2005, in one of the apartments on Tigran Mets Street in Gyumri.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee under the first part of Article 110 of the RA Criminal Code (inducing suicide). Investigative and other procedural actions are underway to clarify all circumstances of the case. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
It is noteworthy that the boy's body was discovered yesterday in Gyumri. The occurrence was confirmed to Tert.am in response to an inquiry by Edgar Janoyan, Deputy Head of the RA Police Information Department.
