Major Accident in Syunik Province: Doctors Fight for Injured Lives

Today, on March 17, a major accident occurred in Syunik Province. Between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM, at the 209 km mark of the Yerevan-Yeraskh-Goris highway, in the Sisian administrative area, a collision took place between a Honda Fit with license plate 34 RC 979 and a Mercedes Sprinter with license plate 34 TA 062.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, two people were taken to the Goris Medical Center, one of whom is in critical condition, while another was sent to the Sisian Medical Center.

Witnesses at the scene reported that citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, and rescue workers extricated them from the vehicles. The doctors from the Sisian and Goris hospitals also acted quickly.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured parties.
