Mother Dies of Shock After Learning Daughter was Strangled

The village of Lernanist in Kotayk Province is in shock following a tragic incident. Local residents recounted how a step-son attempted to strangle his father's 26-year-old wife, and upon hearing the news that her daughter had been attacked, the mother passed away suddenly.

According to villagers, Kamo Simonian, a resident of their community, divorced several years ago and remarried. His step-son frequently visited and demanded that his wife leave the house. 'Kamo has three children from his first marriage, but they live elsewhere. His son always came to his father’s house and caused trouble. This time he learned that his father wasn’t home and secretly wrapped a cord around Susan’s neck. The girl fainted and fell, causing the boy to panic and flee. We rushed Susan to the hospital by ambulance, where she received first aid and was later sent home. During this time, Susan's mother was notified about the incident. Upon hearing the news, she ran out to reach her daughter but unfortunately passed away on the way, likely from a heart attack, as her face was reportedly bruised,' shared neighbors of Susan.
