Suspect Arrested in Murder of Woman and Assault on Her Daughter in Gyumri

A 28-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 43-year-old woman and the severe assault of her 13-year-old daughter in Gyumri. This information was provided by the Public Relations Department of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.

The incident arose from a domestic dispute fueled by jealousy, during which the young man physically assaulted his 43-year-old girlfriend and her daughter. The man was taken into custody by the Police Department of Gyumri's Mush district. The 43-year-old woman has died, while the condition of the 13-year-old girl is serious; she has begun to breathe independently for the first time today.
