Large Fire Erupts on the Metsiavan-Tashir Highway
On February 27, at 14:14, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a fire outbreak at the 5th km of the Metsiavan-Tashir highway, where grass cover was burning.
Two fire-fighting teams and an operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Regional Rescue Directorate were dispatched to the scene.
The fire was contained by 15:00 and extinguished by 17:25. Approximately 30 hectares of grass cover were burned.
