Employees of the AIDS Prevention Center Protest in Front of Government

Employees of the "AIDS Prevention Center" are holding a protest in front of the Government. The staff members express their opposition to the merger with the "Nork" Infectious Disease Hospital.

It is noteworthy that, according to an order from the Minister of Health, the employment contract of the director of the Republic of Armenia's "AIDS Prevention Republican Center" State Non-Commercial Organization, Samvel Grigoryan, was terminated due to unsatisfactory performance of work duties. The staff members do not agree with this decision made by the Minister and are voicing their discontent.

During yesterday's protest, a tense situation arose, with the police detaining the center's deputy director, Aram Hakobyan.
