Car Crashes into Trees in Dilijan Turns Fatal: Body of 31-Year-Old Woman Found Outside Vehicle

On February 27, a tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 03:10, a 36-year-old man identified as Artak H. from Hrazdan was driving a Mercedes GL vehicle with the license plate A193 AE 198 RUS. During his journey along the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway at the 86th kilometer, in the winding roads of Dilijan, he veered off the traffic lane under still unclear circumstances and crashed into trees about 20 meters down, ending up in the fourth section of the curve.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, a passenger, a 31-year-old woman named Karine K. from Yerevan, died on the spot. Her body was found outside the vehicle by firefighters from the Dilijan rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who arrived promptly at the scene.
