473 Individuals with Driver's Licenses Registered in Psychiatric and Drug Treatment Institutions
In 2019, 473 individuals who obtained driver's licenses were registered in psychiatric and drug treatment institutions, and their driver's licenses have been declared invalid. This was stated by Egor Karapetyan, the head of the Road Police of Armenia, during parliamentary hearings on the topic of "Current Issues of Road Traffic and Solutions."
"A total of 473 individuals who received driver's licenses have been registered in psychiatric and drug treatment institutions, and their licenses have been declared invalid. Of these, 102 licenses were confiscated and handed over to the Road Police," Karapetyan noted.
