NSS Detects Three Minors Behind False Bomb Threat at Zvartnots Airport
The National Security Service of Armenia revealed the authors of a false bomb threat at Zvartnots Airport on February 26.
According to the NSS press service, three minors from a school in Yerevan, disregarding the public danger of their actions and the possible consequences, called an employee of a credit organization from a nearby payphone using the phone number listed on an advertisement. They claimed to be at Zvartnots Airport and wanted to decide where to place a bomb they allegedly had.
The employee of the credit organization quickly assessed the situation and alerted law enforcement authorities. Subsequently, NSS employees immediately began verifying the authenticity of the threat and neutralizing potential dangers, leading to the full uncovering of the minors' activities.
