Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Children Among Those Hospitalized
On February 23, at 00:25, reports were received by the Malatya Police Department from two hospitals that residents aged 2, 11, 17, 34, and 36 from one of the buildings in the Southwestern B2 neighborhood were admitted for treatment due to "carbon monoxide poisoning." The responding operational group clarified that the individuals were poisoned as a result of a gas leak from a household gas stove.
Forensic medical and forensic technical examinations have been appointed. Materials are being prepared for further investigation.
