17-Year-Old Admits to Stabbing Peer

On February 22, at 16:50, a report was received at the Hrazdan police department from a hospital stating that a 17-year-old citizen with "two stab-cut wounds to the left flank region" was admitted for medical assistance.

Upon the police’s arrival at the hospital, the doctor informed them that the victim was unable to provide an explanation.

As a result of operational investigative measures undertaken in the context of the criminal case opened regarding the incident, information was obtained that around 16:30 on February 22, a 17-year-old teen inflicted bodily injuries on his peer during a dispute on a road adjacent to the Meghradzor community high school using a sharp cutting-stabbing object.

Thanks to explanatory work, at 00:40 on February 23, the teen presented himself at the Hrazdan police department, confessed to the crime, and was arrested.

Measures are being taken to find the weapon used in the crime. An investigation is underway.
