Fire Breaks Out in Alaverdi City
On February 18, at 17:06, the National Crisis Management Center received a report about a fire in the Wagon-Dormitory area of Alaverdi city, Lori Province.
Two firefighting teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had originated from a makeshift house near 2 Yerevanyan Street.
The fire was contained by 17:30 and extinguished by 18:17. A wagon-dormitory (approximately 5 square meters) was completely burned, along with grass covering (about 2 square meters), and the wall of a nearby makeshift house was scorched (around 1 square meter).
