$20,000 Worth of Gold Jewelry and Nearly $2,000 Stolen from Notable Entrepreneur's Apartment

A significant theft has occurred in the Lori region. Aristakes Aleksanyan, a 52-year-old resident of Isahakyan Street in Vanadzor, reported to the police department of Bazum in Vanadzor that an unknown person or persons gained access to his apartment by using a modified key to open the front door lock and stole a metal non-combustible safe from the bedroom wardrobe.

According to Shamshyan.com, the victim, Aleksanyan, informed law enforcement that the safe contained gold jewelry worth approximately $20,000 and nearly $2,000 in cash.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Lori regional investigative department regarding the incident. According to sources, Aleksanyan is known in Vanadzor as an individual entrepreneur.
