Criminal Investigators Discover Pickpocket Shortly After Incident

On the evening of February 13, the Central Police Department received a report about a pickpocketing incident. A handbag belonging to one of the passengers on bus route 42 was secretly stolen, which contained money and discount cards. The fight against pickpocketing was joined by officers from the Criminal Investigations Department of the Yerevan Police, who identified the suspect on the same day as the incident.

The 21-year-old resident of Yerevan was located on Koryuni Street and was brought to the Central Police Department. He has provided a confession. The stolen items have been recovered. Materials are being prepared regarding the case, and the circumstances are being clarified.
