Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk Resigns
Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has submitted his resignation to the country's president. He announced this on his Facebook page, detailing the successes recorded during President Volodymyr Zelensky's tenure over the past few months and his plans for the future.
He expressed gratitude to the president and the government for their collaborative work, noting that Ukraine is led by dedicated professionals in their fields. Honcharuk stated that he can confidently say there is no corruption at the upper levels of government, and while it may exist at lower levels, it is merely a matter of time before that issue is resolved.
The Prime Minister also stated that he finds it appropriate to cease his tenure at this stage, informing Volodymyr Zelensky and thanking him for the trust of the majority of the populace.
Ukraine's presidential Telegram channel has reported that Zelensky has received Honcharuk's resignation and will discuss it.
