Fire Breaks Out in Forest, Operations Halted Due to Darkness

On December 20, at 14:56, the emergency services received a report that a fire had broken out in the forest between the villages of Martz and Karinji in the Lori Province.

The operational group of the rescue service's regional fire brigade swiftly arrived at the scene. The fire was contained by 18:07.

However, at 18:10, operations were halted due to darkness. Approximately 10 hectares of grass cover, leaves, and stumps were burned, and trees suffered heat damage.
