Three People in Intensive Care Following Military Commissariat Collapse
The collapse of the two-story building of the N1 Military Commissariat located at 19a Halabyan Street in Yerevan has resulted in 12 injured individuals. They have been taken to the "Armenia" Republican Medical Center. Most of the injured did not sustain serious injuries, and several have already been discharged from the hospital; however, three individuals have fractures and are currently in intensive care.
The center did not provide further details, explaining that the injured are still undergoing examinations. Some of the injured were transported to the hospital by ambulance, while others were taken by different vehicles.
In an interview, the director of the ambulance service, Tughik Stepanian, stated that they initially transported two people to the "Armenia" medical center, followed by three more, and lastly, three additional individuals were transferred. The last three transported were conscripts. According to Stepanian, none of them sustained serious injuries.
The cause of the collapse remains unknown.
