Tragic Car Accident in Gegharkunik: Deceased Was a Former Police Employee

A tragic car accident occurred today in the Gegharkunik region. Around 17:15, the driver of a VAZ 21215, with license plate number 35 MG 092, lost control on the 2nd kilometer of the Sevan-Tsakhkunk-Zovaber highway, within the administrative territory of the village of Ddmashen, under still unknown circumstances. The vehicle left the roadway and subsequently overturned, coming to rest partially in the middle of the road, according to Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, 43-year-old Aram Kocharyan, a resident of Ddmashen village, died at the scene. Another individual, 43-year-old Shavarsh Grigoryan, also a resident of Ddmashen, was taken to the Sevan medical center.

According to reports, the deceased was a former employee of the police.
