"Joqovourd": National Assembly Staff to Receive Bonuses Ahead of New Year
"Joqovourd" newspaper writes:
It is no secret that bonuses are generally awarded to staff in state agencies ahead of the New Year. Now, details have emerged regarding processes occurring within the National Assembly of Armenia. Specifically, according to information from "Joqovourd," the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, has instructed Chief of Staff Tigran Galstyan to allocate saved funds and provide bonuses to the staff for the New Year.
The point is that many in the staff receive salaries ranging from 120,000 to 150,000 drams; however, the responsibilities of the legislative body mainly rest on their shoulders. Therefore, it is essential to properly recognize them by allowing them to cover their New Year expenses.
Yesterday, there was excitement among the National Assembly staff, as people realized that the Assembly had the capacity to award bonuses in the past, yet this had not been done. Only the so-called 13th salary had been provided, and that too continually under conditions of conflict and tension.
