Dark Clouds Over Ruben Hayrapetyan: Materials Being Prepared in the Police

Materials are being prepared against Ruben Hayrapetyan, the former president of the Football Federation of Armenia, at the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Directorate of the Police's Organized Crime Prevention Department. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the publication, Hayrapetyan, who also serves as the president of the 'Armenian Development Bank' and is the actual owner of 'Zeytun Furniture Factory' LLC, organized the construction and renovation of football stadiums and sports schools in several cities of the republic through his subordinate employees from 2012 to 2018.

According to G. Shamshyan, the 6th main department of the police has received information that Hayrapetyan, within that framework, has appropriated significant amounts of money by either failing to fulfill or partially fulfilling the volumes provided for in contracts and estimates, and by drawing up false performance acts that do not correspond to reality.
