Investigators Work in Inhumane Conditions: Pashinyan

I have often said that I cannot claim to be very satisfied with the results of investigations related to corruption cases and state officials. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech on November 29, on the occasion of the professional day of the Anti-Corruption Committee's employees.

According to him, it is very easy to note this at a political level, but when delving into the details and recording facts, it becomes evident that a colossal amount of work has been done. He noted, 'We have a significant problem regarding the workload of investigators. When we examine the average workload of investigators, we see that people are working in inhumane conditions.'

He expressed gratitude to the investigators and prosecutors for their efforts and added, 'This is our state’s Calvary, we have to go through this suffering to bring our country to new heights. Of course, we must think about the social guarantees for our investigators. The head of the Anti-Corruption Committee continuously raises this issue before the government, and it is not that it receives the desired response, but this agenda is very important.'
