Every Fugitive Escapes to Their Opportunities, Davtyan
The Chief Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan disagrees with the assessment that all officials seeking refuge in Russia, connected to ongoing cases in Armenia, are being refused extradition by the Russian side. Davtyan made this statement during a conversation with reporters today.
Regarding the fact that many are heading to Russia to avoid prosecution, Davtyan also replied that there is no basis for generalization. He mentioned that perhaps a visa regime does not exist with Russia and it is easier to travel there, but soon the names of those who have sought refuge in other countries will also come to light.
“Every fugitive escapes to their opportunities,” said Davtyan.
