Prime Minister: Economic Growth in 2019 Will Be Close to 7 Percent
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Thus, according to official data published today, the growth of economic activity in Armenia from January to October 2019 compared to the same period last year was 7.1%. In the same period, the growth of industrial production was 8.8%, construction growth was 4.5%, trade growth was 8.9%, and services grew by 15.1%. Exports increased by 7.2%. The average monthly salary has increased by 5.9%. These are quite good indicators, if I may say, very good. Therefore, we have every reason to claim that the economic growth of 2019 will be close to 7 percent. We hope it will also exceed the 7 percent threshold.”
