220 Million Drams for September 21

In celebration of the 28th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, the main event will be held in Gyumri, featuring renowned business figures and notable individuals from Armenia and abroad. This was stated by the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Edward Aghajanyan, during a press conference today.

The events will commence at 11:00 AM in Gyumri’s Central Park. Aghajanyan noted that for the first time this year, an awards ceremony titled “Hero of Our Time” will take place on this day. “The heroes are those who link their future with that of their homeland. The participants of this inaugural award ceremony will be the heroes from the past year’s ‘Hero of Our Time’ television program. During the event, officials and guests will present awards to the heroes, and the grand prize will be the Prime Minister's award,” Aghajanyan said.

For the organization of the events dedicated to the 28th anniversary of independence, 220 million drams will be allocated from the budget.
