Diaspora Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan Meets with Director of the Hermitage Museum
The Diaspora Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg and met with the museum's director, the esteemed Armenian supporter Mikhail Piotrovsky. According to the Facebook page of the Diaspora Commissioner's office, Sinanyan emphasized the role of Armenians in Petersburg, noting that Armenia and Yerevan days are often organized in the city, and that Armenian culture is presented at the highest level.
Following the meeting, Zareh Sinanyan toured the museum. The world-renowned museum, which boasts a collection of over 3 million items, has also been enriched with exhibits from the Urartian period. Moreover, exceptional artifacts were displayed in the Hermitage’s permanent hall dedicated to Armenian culture.
