City of Smile Recognized as Organization of the Year in Los Angeles
In Los Angeles, USA, during the 5th annual gala dinner of the charitable organization Bridge of Health held yesterday, the charitable foundation City of Smile was recognized as the Organization of the Year. The award highlights the important work that the City of Smile foundation is doing towards the development of hematology and oncology in Armenia. The award was presented to Shant Shekheredimyanco, a member of the honorary council of the City of Smile charitable foundation and an oncologist.
This information has been conveyed by Anna Hakobyan's office: "It is a great honor for us to work with the City of Smile foundation. While it is very important to provide financial support to children with cancer and blood diseases and their families, the systemic medical improvements sought by both the City of Smile and Bridge of Health organizations are very important for a healthier and happier Armenia," said Robert Aghaverdyan, president of the Bridge of Health charitable organization while presenting the award.
The City of Smile charitable foundation was established in 2014. Its mission is to help children overcome cancer and blood diseases. Since 2018, the foundation's board of trustees has been chaired by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
