Establishment of Damage Assessment Results for Non-Purpose Water Use

The Environmental and Mining Inspection Body reports: "Based on the decision number 1176-N from the Government of the Republic of Armenia, adopted on September 5, 2019, changes and additions have been made to the decision number 1110-N of August 14, 2003, which established the procedure for assessing the impact of economic activities on water resources. This decision sets the grounds for the assessment of economic impact on water resources resulting from the extraction of water resources without a permit for usage or beyond the permitted limits, as well as the calculation of damage caused by this impact, the formulas, and the new indicators used in the assessment of the economic impact. The decision will come into force on the tenth day following the official publication date."
