Young People Injured While Using New Cable Car in Yerevan
On September 5th, at 11:15 PM, the police department in Mashtots received a report from a hospital that a 27-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman had been admitted for treatment with diagnoses of "fragmented fracture of the left femur" and "fracture of the pelvis and humerus."
It was revealed that on the same day at 8:30 AM, they had used the passenger cable car from Komitas Avenue to Alikhanian Brothers Street. However, due to a failure of the employee monitoring the movement to halt the operation in time, they collided with metal ropes and supports, sustaining injuries. An investigation has been initiated.
